Christian,
I agree. We can't afford to go into this game with a false sense of security. All division rivals get up to play the Steelers. Like you said, when they play us, it is their superbowl.

I'm sure Coach Tomlin will have drilled this into their heads, and the Steelers will come out ready to kick some Bengal butt.

This is still a divisional game, Cincy will treat it as the superbowl, where Carson is in or not. Steelers need to come out and establish the run which will setup the pass. This is a "cotcha" game if we are not mentaly ready

JC,
I definitely agree that the Steelers sacks allowed need to drop. In the Game against the Eagles, I wasn't sure that Ben was going to survive. However, I am starting to feel much better about the offensive line. They are starting to gel. Darnell stapleton has filled in admirably. Now, many of the sacks are due to Ben holding onto the ball too long trying to make a play. Earlier in the year, the offensive line was just getting beat.

I think that as long as Ben is our QB, we are going to have to deal with him holding the ball too long. Therefore, we will just have to get used to him taking too many sacks. But the tradeoff is that he will make some great plays like that pass to Hines Ward against Jacksonville. Ben had 2 defenders draped on him, and he still made the pass.

Emily,
Good point. Gaining ground on the opposition is always a good thing. Gaining ground when we didn't even play a game is even better. :-)

The Pittsburgh Steelers had a very good week even though it was a bye week. Both the Bungles and the Ratbirds lost, distancing the Steelers even more atop of the AFC North Division.
