I felt bad for Limas at first…but bottom line, if you can’t catch, you don’t need to be on the field. You said it best, Wallace has made him obsolete. Still, just like in Hard Knocks, I feel bad when someone is let go fm the team…But I feel better with a WIN!
I feel bad for Limas to. I want him to work out and be a benefit to the team. They need to work with the kid during the off season and try to rebuild his confidence. He is to high of a draft pick to flush. Thank god Wallace has turned into a success.
Limas needs to sign up for Rice’s off season program. Jerry knows the cure for Handsofstone Syndrome.
Don’t feel sorry for him at all. The reason I’m not making millions of dollars in the NFL is because I can’t make the plays against the pros either.
He needs to go somewhere and put in the work so when OTA’s roll around he can come in with confidence.
In all seriousness I hope it really is because he sucks and he doesn’t have some illness. He’s a terrible player but I don’t wish ill on him personally.
Did anyone see Tomlin’s remarks concerning Galloway?
He said, and I quote, “Hopefully he can give us a little energy and spirit, veteran leadership in a position that is somewhat depleted.”
Can anyone tell me where we lack energy, spirit, and veteran leadership in our WRs! Is there a more veteran, energetic and spirited WR than Hines Ward? Can you honestly say that Holmes lacks energy and spirit? Wallace, who as a rookie just ripped the job away from Sweed?
WRs are one of our bright spots for crying out loud.
Depleted?
Ward with a broken leg is still a better play than most WRs so I think he will play just fine with that hamstring injury (just like he did last year in the super bowl) and that little cut on Wallace’s leg should be just fine. And Holmes does not appear to be injured at all.
I get it. Galloway is a fine pick up. Great veteran. I get it. But if Tomlin is trying to pick up players to fill a glaring gap why don’t he start with the secondary or O-line?
This man is quickly getting on my nerves. You want energy and spirit then get a new kicker!
On a side note: I wonder if William Gay can punt. Because Sepulveda can certainly tackle.
