Steelers Today – A Pittsburgh Steelers blog

I know that this is a Pittsburgh Steelers site, and I almost never cover anything other than the Steelers.  However, I’m a sports fan and this deserved coverage.

Jamaica’s Usain Bolt just shattered the world record in the 100 meter dash at the World Championships in Berlin.  He ran a blistering 9.58 seconds.  American Tyson Gay came in second place in an amazing 9.71 seconds.  If it weren’t for Bolt, Gay would be the new world record holder (his time was faster than those run by anyone other than Usain Bolt).

Here is the video for those of you who haven’t seen it.

For those of you who don’t follow track and field, suffice it to say that there are cars that can’t travel 100 meters in 9.58 seconds.
